The children of pre-primary at The Summit School took a trip under the sea to meet with all the amazing and wonderful sea creatures. Nursery and play group kids dressed up as divers and along with their facilitators, met their friends from the sea, Mr. Octopus, Miss. Lobster and many more portrayed by the students of L.Kg and U.Kg. They also learnt about the importance of water and the need to save water.
The students from classes I to IX participated in this competition. The blooming birds of TSS manifested their creativity in the form of beautiful, vibrant kites made out of coloured papers and decorated them ardently. They thoroughly enjoyed the activity and it reflected on their smiling faces. This was also a part of the workshop for life skills.
Lucky are the ones who have their grandparent! It’s such a wonderful bonding and relation between a grandchild and a grandparent. This bonding was observed on Grandparent’s Day celebration at The Summit School, where the students performed along with their Grandfather/Grandmother. It was such a joy to see the grandparents match tunes and groove along with their grandchildren. Some of them even shared memories from their childhood/schooldays. The students handed over cards made by them to their grandparents.
This competition was held as an integral part of the co-curricular activities. The creative minds were encouraged to sketch their vivid imagination on black t-shirt and paint them accordingly. The enthusiastic students decorated the t-shirts with glitters and sparkles.
The students of TSS are always excited about the teachers’ day celebration. This year they planned for a secret mimicry which was indeed appreciable. The teachers of TSS are proud to have such lovingly children.They also showcased their talents through dance and songs as well.
To mark the celebration of Janmashtami, a fancy dress competition was organized by The Summit School for the little ones of the pre-primary section. It was wonderful to see the children walk the ramp dressed up as Radha and Krishna. Some of them were talented enough to blow the flute. The show was followed by a story telling session based on Lord Krishna.
The school celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with great zeal. The program started with flag hoisting followed by the national song. The patriotic songs by the TSS choir added to the patriotic fervor of the day. It was followed by a small skit, a dance and a recitation performed by the students. The toddlers had a Go-As-You like competition, where they were dressed as patriotic leaders and delivered their prudent slogans.
TSS envisions to inculcate the true importance of sibling love through the Rakhi making competition. The students from classes IV to IX participated in it. The well ornate Rakhis were the symbol of lively TSS children and their creativity.
The Summit School has organized a rhyme competition for its Pre-primary kids. The students dressed up as different characters like kettle, traffic signal, animals and many more to participate in this event. It was such fun to watch the little ones perform rhymes along with suitable actions. The promptness and confidence of these children were noteworthy. We appreciate the help of those parents who helped the teachers in preparing the cut-outs for the children.
This workshop was held on to commemorate the Environment Day. The participants were from classes VI to IX who were taught to prepare book marks with the theme to save the environment.
